Job: Coach

Coach

Mark Thomas

I started coaching with Brinscall in 2017 and became the Blue Team Manager in 2019 when we split the teams ready for competing in the U7 leagues.

I hold an FA Level 1 Coaching qualification. I’m a massive Liverpool fan but as I can’t get to games I have a PNE season ticket. I have played since I can remember but had to stop playing competitive football in 2015 after a knee injury, however I still play non-competitive 5 a side.

My primary role with the Blues is to manage the team and provide fitness coaching. I thoroughly enjoy both roles, albeit the 2nd is a more recent addition!

We have an incredible bunch of kids who always give their best and enjoy what we do. Over the past year we have seen a marked improvement in all the players and we are excited to take them forward into the Under 8s.

Away from the club I am employed by the FA as a Coaching Developer supporting grassroots clubs & coaches in Cheshire. I am a Level 4 coach with experience of coaching players and teams of different ages.
